Andrew Harbridge

I love to play the piano and one of my favourite composers is Andrew Harbridge.

Andrew has been teaching music at his studio since 1989, in Peterborough, Ontario. Along with teaching piano, voice, theory and music history, he is the music Director of Park Street Baptist Church in Peterborough. He has been the organist/choirmaster at several differetnt churches since 1982 and enjoys performing at the keyboard and conducting choirs. Some of the types of music he composes includes Rock, Latin, Blues, Modern Ballads, Neo-Classical, Neo-Romantic and others.

Some of the awards he has received are; the Gold Medal of Excellence for the highest mark in Canada on the piano teacher’s examination, the Cora B. Ahrens Award for the highest written examination in the Province of Ontario, the Ontario Registered Music Teacher’s Scholarship (Peterborough Branch), the Cultural Achievement Award presented by Mayor Silvia Sutherland and the Peterborough City Council, and the Sister Music Teacher’s Memorial Scholarship.
